Penn State students top nominations for Mid-Atlantic College Production Awards

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Work from nearly two dozen Penn State students was honored in six categories — including every finalist in two categories — as nominations for the 2024 Mid-Atlantic College Production Awards were announced.

Penn State students earned all nominations in both the news reporting category and the multimedia journalist category.

“Congratulations to all of our top-tier students who worked so hard to do this kind of work,” said Steve Kraycik, an associate teaching professor in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications and director of student television. “We have a great showing for this year’s college Emmys.”

The college awards will be presented at the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards ceremony Sept. 21 in Pittsburgh.
