Freshens Fresh Food Kitchen to open location on University Park campus this fall

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Freshëns Fresh Food Kitchen will open a location in the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (EcoRE), formerly West 1, in the 2024 fall semester, on the University Park campus. 

Freshëns is a fresh casual restaurant offering freshly prepared food such as grilled flatbreads, salads, rice and acai bowls, and smoothies. All food is prepared to order, so customers are free to customize, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options. Freshëns will also sell select Penn State Bakery items and Starbucks Coffee and beverages.  

“We are honored to be included as a dining option at Penn State, and we are excited to offer the campus community healthy, great-tasting options to fuel their day,” said Christina Jockwig, Freshëns vice president of marketing and digital content. 

Freshëns will accept LionCash, Campus Meal Plans and Commuter Meal Plans.
