UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The launch of the 2024 Penn State ID2ID program targets instructional designers and learning design graduate students by offering a platform to enhance their skills and expand their professional networks.

Since 2010, the Penn State ID2ID program aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the University community. The program aims to bolster expertise in the instructional design field, ultimately contributing to the overall advancement of learning and teaching practices. Participants will be paired based on their individual goals and areas of expertise. All levels of experience are welcome to apply.

The core objectives of the Penn State ID2ID program are multi-faceted:

  1. Skill sharing and development: Through formal pairings, participants will have the opportunity to share their expertise while also learning from their counterparts. This collaborative approach allows individuals to focus on improving areas where they may have less experience or knowledge.
  2. Facilitating cross-unit communication: The program encourages communication among instructional designers across different reporting units. By doing so, participants gain insights into the diverse roles and responsibilities within the instructional design landscape at Penn State.
  3. Professional growth and networking: Participation in the ID2ID program presents a valuable opportunity for professional development. By expanding their networks within the Penn State Learning Design Community, participants can access new perspectives and resources.

The application process for the Penn State ID2ID program is now open with applications being accepted through May 15. Interested individuals can apply by visiting http://sites.psu.edu/id2id/application/.
